QUILTED JACKET CLASS - evening classes
QUILTED JACKET CLASS (this jacket is not pieced!!)
Your fee includes 2 5/8 of fabric & 2 5/8 yards lining. Also includes ½ yard of fabric for
the binding. There is ¼ yard of interfacing that is included. The pattern is included. We
will need to know if you are size 0 to 18 or larger. There will be additional yardage
requirement for larger than an 18.
You will need to use a good quality thread (Aurifil), high quality quilt batting in twin size (72 x 80), safety pins, straight pins, marking tool, sewing machine in good working order (you must know how to use it), walking foot,
standard zig zag foot, and overcasting foot, seam ripper, scissors (thread snips &
dressmaking scissors), wind three bobbins of your thread.
Please sign up asap so that we can have the patterns in stock and ready to go. The
only part that is tricky with the jacket is the pockets. You may opt to leave the welted
pocket off or put a patch pocket on. Your choice.
