MEMORY QUILT WORKSHOP
Have you ever wanted to make a memory quilt or a t-shirt quilt but are unsure of how to get
started? Has someone asked you to make them a memory quilt or a t-shirt quilt but you are
intimidated by such a seemingly daunting task? Do you have several t-shirts saved in drawers
or boxes because of the wonderful memories they hold, but you no longer wear the shirts?
Have you saved clothing that belonged to a loved one and wish to create an everlasting hug in
the form of a quilt made from that clothing? If you answered yes to any of these questions,
Kristen’s MEMORY QUILT WORKSHOP is for you! If you have already started your memory
quilt and just need help with getting it finished, this workshop is for you also! Bring your t-shirts
or other articles of clothing, your sewing machine, some basic cutting supplies, and some
lightweight fusible stabilizer (Shir tailor or SF101) and Kristen will provide tips, tricks, and
techniques to help you tackle this project and create a beautiful memory quilt. When you sign
up for this workshop, you will receive a $10 coupon to use at Marie’s Sewing Center the day of
the workshop to help you with your purchase of supplies you need to complete your project.
Hope to see you there!
