Useless Garish Leftover Yardage

It's the "difficult" fabric challenge! Our employees have picked out the fabrics they would be "least likely to be put in a quilt". Don't say the "U" word! So we want to see what you think! Come in the store and check out our collection and we will see if you agree or disagree. These fabrics will all be 25% off for August.

Also on Facebook we will have sets of these fabrics face-off so that you can love, like or angry face to help us determine the most Useless Garish Leftover Yardage of all!

WIDE BACKS......

We just got in a lot of wide backs from Benartex!! Come in and check out the Washed Wood, Wave Texture, Butterfly Whisper and more! 108 inches wide perfect for your next quilting project.

Pillowcase Kits Plus!

You can also use our pillowcase kits to make these Karen Montgomery patterns:

Stow n Go Tote (TQC-625), you will also need a ponytail elastic.
Catch All (TQC-622), you can make 2 from the kit. Stitch the 1/4 yard to the main fabric along WOF before cutting to get a contrasting color when you fold over holder cuff.
Half & Half Apron (TQC-604), use the main fabric for the skirt and ties.
Last minute Runner (TQC-615) for feature fabric 1 use a strip of cuff 4.25" wide and one strip of main 4.25" wide and another strip of cuff sewn together to make 1/3 yard piece.

Easy Mitered Placemats (TQC-601) you can make 2 from the kit. for feature fabric 1 use a strip of cuff 4.25" wide and one strip of main 4.25" wide and another strip of cuff sewn together and trimmed to make the two 12x16 focus fabric rectangles.
Easy Backpack (TQC-606) skip flannel and change outside and lining to 13.5x32 and casing to 13.5x2.5. You will also need cording and velcro.

Open Sew is every Wednesday in Hamburg from 10:00 - 3:00. Bring a project you're working on, your sewing machine and supplies. Meet others who share your love of sewing! Have a question? We're here all day to help out! It's only $10 cash or $12 credit card for each Wednesday! You MUST sign up or call ahead.

Kate Colleran

of Kate Colleran Designs

Sunday August 27th @4pm est.

Kate Colleran is a fabric and quilt pattern designer, quilt teacher and author. She has had quilts in many quilt magazines, and has classes online as well as at local quilt shops, guilds, and at national quilt shows. Her quilt patterns are known for their complete, easy to follow instructions with an eclectic design style; inspired by traditional elements and put together with a modern twist. She is the designer of the popular Braid and Mini Braid Templates and co-author of the book, Smash Your Precut Stash. Her first fabric lines came out in 2022 with Island Batik. Her goal is to help quilters make a quilt by finding the methods and techniques that work for them!
