The Skyline S3 Anniversary Edition includes everything you need to make sewing easier and more enjoyable; it comes with 120 built-in stitches, including seven one-step buttonholes and one alphabet. The stitch quality of the Skyline S3 AE is excellent and can speed up to 820 stitches per minute in a smooth and peaceful operation. Navigation through all of these choices is simple using the backlit LCD screen.
Janome’s Superior Feed System Plus features a 7-piece feed dog to ensure that even the thickest, multi-layer projects can move under the needle with precision and ease. The Skyline S3 AE's patented needle placement accuracy includes special plate markings that indicate needle drop position, provide angle marks, and act as front-of-the-foot guides. In addition, the needle can be moved into 15 unique positions to get pinpoint accuracy for decorative stitching, applique, and free-motion quilting.

Choose from 120 different stitches and 7 buttonholes. The Skyline S3 10th Anniversary Edition offers 71 unique needle positions in order to get pinpoint accuracy for decorative stitching, appliqué and free motion quilting. There is also an array of standard feet and accessories including Automatic Buttonhole foot, and dust cover. |
Convenience and Comfort
Right by the needle, you’ll find a start/stop button for sewing without the foot control and a reverse button. There is also a locking stitch button and needle up/down button. The start/stop button allows the machine to sew without using the foot pedal. This feature is great for sewing long seams or for quick mending. The reverse button allows you to easily backstitch for locking seams. With the tip of your finger, this conveniently located button can also be used to stop a stitch pattern before its completion. The locking stitch button ties off the end of the thread. No need to backstitch to lock a seam. This is ideal for securing seams on delicate fabrics or when using decorative stitches. Thread the machine up to the needle and then let the built-in needle threader take over to get the thread through the eye of the needle. The Backlit LCD screen makes it much easier to see what you're creating. |
